1.) Ideally you will stay off of caffeine for the long-term, as it is a drug and stimulant to the body which it would be better off without, however we understand that there are coffee lovers.
2.) For those who chose to have the occasional caffeinated coffee we recommend Bulletproof Coffee (click the link for a recipe), also known as butter coffee. In its purest form it is a combination of grass-fed butter, coconut oil or MCT oil and organic coffee. This is very high in good fats and calories.
3.) For decaf, the coffee beans are stripped of caffeine in two different ways, either with chemicals or the Swiss Water Process. We recommend only drinking decaf that has been prepared via the Swiss Water Process. This is a very common process and most grocery stores carry this type of decaf coffee. It will be clearly marked on the package itself.
4.) For tea, we recommend herbal tea, preferably organic.
